In short

CLEKARA's tools process your files inside your browser, so they do not need to send them to our servers in order to do the work. We do not store your documents, we do not keep copies of them, and we cannot read them.

We do not ask you to register and we cannot identify you. We count visits with a cookieless service, and advertising — which is what pays for the site — loads nothing until you allow it.

Who is responsible

This site is operated by CLEKARA, Peru. For any question about this policy you can write to hello@clekara.com.

How your files are handled

When you select a file, your browser reads it into memory and the tool works on it there. The result is generated on your device and downloaded from it. At no point does the content of your file travel to a CLEKARA server.

Once you leave or reload the page, everything the tool was holding disappears from memory. Nothing is kept between visits.

If a PDF is password-protected, the password you type stays in memory for that operation alone. It is never stored or transmitted.

What our hosting provider sees

The site is served through Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes the technical data involved in delivering a page: your IP address, your browser's user agent and the address requested. That is how it knows to send you a page — it does not give it access to the contents of the files you process.

Some libraries used by the tools may be requested from a public content delivery network. That request also carries your IP address and user agent, and again never the contents of your documents.

What we store in your browser

One single value: your light or dark theme preference, saved under the key clekara-theme. It stays on your device, it is not sent anywhere, and you can delete it by clearing this site's data in your browser.

We set no cookies of our own, and no tracking pixels. Our visit counter, Cloudflare Web Analytics, works without cookies and without building a profile of you: it counts page views and where they came from, nothing more. If you allow advertising, Google may then set its own cookies — the cookie policy explains exactly what and how to undo it.

Advertising

CLEKARA is free and pays for itself with advertising, through Google AdSense. Nothing from Google is requested until you accept it. When advertising is running you will see a notice the first time you visit; until you accept, the Google script is not loaded — not loaded and blocked afterwards, simply not requested. If you reject it, nothing loads and every tool works exactly the same. While no advertising is running on the site, no notice appears and nothing from Google is requested at all.

Your rights

Because we do not collect personal data, there is normally nothing for us to access, correct or delete. If you believe we hold information about you, write to hello@clekara.com and we will respond.

Depending on where you live, data protection law may give you rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection and portability. You also have the right to complain to your local supervisory authority.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
